Donald Ray Weaver, 63, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life early Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 17, 1948 in Amosville, VA, the son of William Carl and Blanche (Sims) Weaver. He was married to Lucille Weaver who preceded him in death. On Mar. 21, 1997 he married Carol Ann Burns who survives. Also surviving are step-daughters, Jamie R. Hill and Heather and husband, Jamie Bryans; a step-son, Omer J. Hill, all of Chillicothe; step-grandchildren, Nathan, Ryan, Cody and Cole; a step-great grandchild; 3 sisters and 3 brothers; sisters-in-law, Janet and husband, James Trego and Susan Wiseman; a brother-in-law, Robert Burns, all of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his parents and several sisters and brothers. Mr. Weaver was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of American Legion Post 62. He attended Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011 with Rev. Mark Clendaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Soldiers Square, Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Wednesday.
