Wayne was a stalwart pillar of the real estate business & the Ross County community.  He & I started in the business at a similar time & in similar ways.  Our relationship was professional & personal.  The expanse of his business reach was far greater than anyone I know.  Wayne is one of those that you could always call & know that he would respond in high fashion when you said, "Say, I could use a little help on this -- what do you think?"  He was the only other Ross County Realtor in the audience in Columbus on a special day in 1985.  I'll never forget his role in that event.  My very best to all his family & associates.

Wayne will be missed in the real estate business community of Ross County and as a mentor to many young people over the years.

My heart breaks to hear of Wayne's passing.  He was my mentor for so many years and taught me so much, not just in the field of real estate, but about life. He was always quick to help someone in need.  Once I was with him when this gentleman who was obviously down on his luck came up to Wayne with some sad story, without thinking twice he handed the man a $20 bill.  I asked Wayne why he did that when he knew it wouldn't make a difference, he told me that it may not make a difference to that man, but that you never know whose life you would make a difference in and that sometimes you may end up helping a few that didn't really need it to be sure you reached the ones that did. Wayne truly made a difference in my life and for that I am grateful. My thoughts and prayers are with Wayne's family.

What a guy Wayne was.  His smile, his way of working throught situations, his being so sincere to help people out.  He was a pretty great person.  For a time period Wayne was just like my dad was to me, very kind and interested.  I will always remember those days.  To his family I say that I am very sorry for your loss.

I worked with Wayne as one of his Realtors for almost 15 years. I said from the beginning that I would never work for another company. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Wayne. He was an honest and good man. Jim and I will both miss him All our prayers to Jane, Mark, Greg, Rob and the family

My heart and sympathy goes out to all of Wayne's family, friends, and employees.  He was a kind and thoughtful man who was always willing to help a friend in need.  May you find comfort in knowing he is with his Lord and others he loved so very much.  We will all miss him but will see him again someday.  Cherish the fond memories and celebrate his life.
