Dear Bob, John and I bought your home in Florida at Recreation Plantation and we love it here. Martie had left a star ornament on the bedside light and every time I see it I think of how sweet she was. A true star. Our deepest condolences go out to you and your family.

I too am a 1957 graduate of NHS. We have always invited Martie to our class reunions and was pleased when she could attend. My wife has a Chair Throw made by her hands.

Lots of incredible and wonderful memories with Martie, Bettsy, my mom and myself during our trips with the swim team and memories during our weight training at the Y. You taught me how to sew and make my first dress and put up with all of the shenanigans Bettsy and I got in during middle school while we tried to figure out life. You were my sounding board, my second mom and a great friend to both me and my mom. Our love, hugs and prayers for Bob, Bettsy, Debbie and Rob. The comfort of knowing you are at peace and now a special Guardian Angel watching over so many is comfort in our hearts.

A wonderful lady who was my first Sunday School teacher. She was very patient and loving. I looked forward to going every Sunday to see her and listen to her read to us. I send my deepest sympathy to the family. Heaven has truly gained an Angel.
