Elinor Louise Magill, 87, of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Thursday evening, January 28, 2016 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 12, 1928 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Fred and Elinor I. (Dorman) Althouse.  On October 31, 1946 she married Roy C. Magill who preceded her in death January 7, 1989.

Surviving are her sons, Ralph R. (Brenda) Magill, Hamilton, OH, Ryan R. (Stephanie) Magill, Groveport and Robert R. (Beth) Magill, Chillicothe; a daughter-in-law, Louise Magill, Waverly; a granddaughter; 8 grandsons; 3 great-granddaughters and 2 brothers.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronald R. Magill and several brothers.

Mrs. Magill was a member of the Bridge Street Church of Christ and was an active member of the Hearts and Hands group.  She was a volunteer for the COAD Program at the Ross County Senior Citizens Center for more than 10 years.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Bridge Street Church of Christ at 6:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2016.  Calling hours will not be observed.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridge Street Church of Christ.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to be serving the family.
