William Zinn Obituary

William Owen “Bill” Zinn, 69 of West Chester, Ohio passed from this life and went home to the Lord on Thursday, March 26, 2020 after an extended battle with multiple myeloma. He was the husband of Deborah Ann (Frame) Zinn who preceded him in death February 8, 2013.

He was born on November 29, 1950 in Morgantown, West Virginia, the son of the late Owen E. and Elizabeth G. Zinn. Mr. Zinn was an electrical and mechanical engineer for General Electric Aviation for 30 years. He was a graduate of West Virginia University and received his Master’s Degree from Purdue University. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in West Chester.

He is survived by two daughters, Krista (Jeremiah) Irwin of West Chester, Ohio and Lindsay (Jason) Cordes of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two grandsons, Levi and Myles Cordes; and a sister, Patricia (Charlie) Perry of Wayne, West Virginia. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, and a sister, Carolyn Grace Zinn.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2020 in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling, West Virginia.  A Celebration of Life in West Chester, Ohio will be announced at a later date.  Memorial contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
