Theodore B. Taylor, 68 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Thursday, April 7, 2021 in the OSU Medical Center, Columbus following a brief illness. He was born April 24, 1952 in Chillicothe, the son of Ralph W. and Olive Jeanne (Stokes) Taylor. On March 16, 2003 he married Kathy R. Witter, who survives.
Also surviving is his daughter, Kim (Chris) McGowan, Chillicothe; his sister, Vicki (Keith) Putnam, Frankfort; his special brother, Louie (Pam) Throckmorton, Chillicothe; his niece, Keva (Marcus) Peecher; his nephews, Bryan (Dawn) Putnam and Brad (Carey) Putnam; several great nieces and great nephews and his loving canine companion, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents and infant twin sisters.
Ted was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. He was a retired employee of Mead Chilpaco and attended the Dry Run Church. He was a member of the Paper Workers Local and a Life Member of the NRA. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer, turkey, and mushroom hunting.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Carol Davis officiating, under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Military Honors will be by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.
