Obituary
Maryon L. Woods, 92, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Friday, November 25, 2022 at her residence. She was born May 19, 1930 in Ross County, the daughter of James S. and Hattie G. (McQuay) Patterson. On November 22, 1947 she married Carl F. Woods who preceded her in death in 1996.
Surviving is her daughter, Teresa K. (Jerry) Williamson, Chillicothe; her sons, Jeffrey L. (Penny) Woods, Londonderry, Larry C. Woods, Ebony, VA, and Roger W. (Mary) Woods, Chillicothe; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband and 2 brothers.
Mrs. Woods had been a waitress for Cline’s Restaurant, the Fox Farm Inn, the L&K Restaurant, and was an employee of Kmart. She had attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Waverly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, December 12, 2022 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Evans, officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to National Church Residences.
