Mark R. Hough of Chillicothe died unexpectedly at Adena Medical Center on June 1, 2013. He was 47. Mark was born on August 1, 1965, in Chillicothe, to the late John Richard “Jack” Hough and to Beth A. (Tweed) Hough.
In addition to his mother, of Pompano Beach, Florida, Mark is survived by his children, Cassady (Adam) Lawson and Chase Hough; grandchildren Aubree Hough and Brenlee and Reese Lawson, all of Chillicothe; his fiancé Karla Sicilia and her daughters Shellie Hartley and Jenna Bryant and Shellie’s daughters Chevelle and Brenna, also of Chillicothe; by his sisters Leigh (Jean-Philippe) Jomini of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Joni Hough of Pompano Beach, Florida, and by cousins Mike, Fred, Russ, Cookie, Donna, Margaret and Mary on his father’s side and cousins Chip and Suzanne on his mother’s.
Mark worked as a landscaper and was a founding partner in B&H Landscaping of Chillicothe. He loved being outdoors and found great joy and satisfaction in his work. He was an avid NASCAR and Buckeye fan – not to mention the Browns, the Bulls and the Cowboys. He never met a stranger, and never saw a child he didn’t want to take care of or an animal he didn’t want to adopt. He is gone too soon and will be missed every day.
Visitation hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday June 5 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Immediately following the visitation hours, a service of remembrance will be conducted by Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator Bruce Hines. A private burial at St. Margaret’s Cemetery is to be held in late June.
To honor Mark, the family invites memorial contributions to the Ross County Humane Society, 2308 Lick Run Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601, or at www.rosscountyhumanesociety.org/
