Marjorie Maxine (Kennison) Haskins

June 29, 1928 — June 22, 2022

Marjorie Maxine Haskins, 93, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born June 29, 1928 in Fayette County, the daughter of Fred and Marjorie (Stover) Kennison.

She was the fifth of eight children and the last surviving child. She was also a great-niece of Nathaniel Massie, founder of Chillicothe.  Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Anne Garrison, Ida Mae Harper, Pat Seymour, Ruth Lemaster, and Lorraine Arledge; brothers; Fred “Sonny” Kennison and Denver Kennison; and her husband, Charles “Snooks” Haskins on July 2, 2011.

Surviving is her son, Tim Pritchard, Chillicothe; grandchildren, Kimberly Cruse and Angela Lewis; great-grandchildren, Brandon and Dylan Pritchard, Chris and Sydney Coman, Carson, Conner and Maddy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Maxine was a retired employee of Sears, and had worked as a cosmetologist.  She was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Rev. Mark Clendaniel officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to serve the family.  Her memorial register is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.
