Obituary
Lloyd W. “Bud” Seymour, 88, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Monday, August 14, 2023 in CareCore at Westmoreland. He was born on April 11, 1935 in Chillicothe to the late Roy S. and Vera (Kempton) Seymour.
Surviving is a daughter, Kelly (Ben) Hoey, and a son, Rick (Sharon) Seymour, both of Chillicothe, grandchildren, Ashley (Mike) Crabtree, Dustin Seymour, Audrey (David) Glass, Joe (Amber) Stewart, and Pete (Jess) Hoey, great-grandchildren, Lily Seymour, David, Michael, Joseph, & Margaret Glass, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Alexander and former wife Yvonne Flannery.
Bud had worked as a representative for Columbus & Southern Power (now AEP), an auctioneer for 32 years, and was a bus driver for Zane Trace Schools. He owned and operated Seymour Wholesale Lamp, and Seymour Wholesale Carpet businesses. Bud also raised miniature donkeys and was involved in the Ducks Unlimited Organization.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to National Church Residence Hospice for their excellent care of Bud.
A private graveside service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed.
