Lenore M. Limle

Lenore May Limle, 93, of Southern Pines, NC, formerly of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Friday morning, Jan. 9, 2009 in Moore Regional Medical Center, Pinehurst, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 am Friday, Jan. 16, 2008 in St. Peter's Catholic Church with Fr. William Hahn and Fr. Charles Griffin, celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Margaret's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday. She was born Jan. 2, 1916 in Sardinia, OH, the daughter of Herschel and Bessie (Sauner) Bowen. On May 13, 1939 she married Charles E. Limle who preceded her in death Apr. 21, 2008. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Beth and Paul Leach, Southern Pines, NC, Kathy and David McKee, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Mark (Sharon) Leach, Matt (Robi) Leach, Denise Hatfield, Sean (Christa) McKee, Chad (Michele) McKee and Hillery (L.J.) Kennedy, great-grandchildren, Christina Leach, Amy Hatfield, Kelsey Leach, Kaitlyn Leach, Nick Kennedy, Brandon Kennedy, Kiersten McKee, Rylie McKee and Cade McKee, step-great-grandchildren, Jacquelyn Hamilton and Ryan and Devin Curran, a step-great-great-grandchild, Addison Cunningham and sisters, Frances Bowen, Chillicothe and Stella Buskirk, Tacoma, WA. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Limle was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and the St. Peter's Garden Club. She was an avid bowler and was active in area leagues for many years. An accomplished seamstress, she enjoyed sewing and knitting. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of St. Peter's Church, 126 Church St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
