John W. Adams

John W. Adams, 62, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness.  He was born May 2, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of Thomas E. and Louise (Fowler) Adams.

Surviving are his sisters, Peggy Mattox, Jane Adams and Kathy (Hubert) Cottrill, all of Chillicothe; his brother, Glen “Bud” Adams, Chillicothe and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Judy, Barbara Jean, Linda and Connie and brothers, Thomas E. Jr., and Creed Richard.

John was retired as a driver for RLS Trucking.  He will be remembered as a loving and devoted brother, uncle and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Ira Ayers officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home for 11:00 am until the hour of service on Monday.  Social distancing and masks are requested.
