Jamie Lee Detillian, 50, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Saturday evening, Dec. 26, 2020 at his home following a 3-year battle with leukemia. He was born Jan. 10, 1970 in Chillicothe, the son of the late Dale Detillian and Bonnie (Moats) Detillian. On Oct. 1, 2016 he married Vesta Cordle Redman Detillian, the love of his life, who survives.
Also surviving is his mother and step-father, Bonnie and Don Fyffe, Chillicothe; daughters, Cassandra Newland and Myiah (Chris) Ramey; grandchildren, Ayden, Abrianna and Maci, all of Chillicothe; step-children, Amber (Kevin) Miller, Canton, OH, Brooke (Brad) Searles, Washington C.H., OH, Zack Redman and Spencer Redman, both of Chillicothe; step-grandchildren, Isaac Miller, Payton Colbin, Blake Carrington and Jamie’s sidekick, Mason Redman; sister, Mary (Jason) Detillian; and brother, Daniel (Andi) Fyffe, all of Chillicothe. He was preceded in death by his father.
Jamie was a member of Eagles Aerie 600, Chillicothe. He was the life of the party; a most giving and kind person who did not know a stranger and always ready to help anyone in need. He was an avid and talented bowler and enjoyed hunting, fishing, demolition derby’s and playing frisbee disc golf with all his great friends and family.
Following a private visitation, public Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020 in Bethel Cemetery on Dry Run Rd. with Paul Minney officiating. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is honored to serve the family. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, social distancing and the wearing of masks is requested.
