James R Maple

James R. Maple, 73, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Friday morning Oct. 27, 2023 at his residence.  He was born on May 3, 1950 in Chillicothe, to the late Sherrald E. and Evelyn (Johnston) Maple.

Surviving is his son, James (Nicki) Maple, Jr., Middletown, OH; grandchildren, Cierra Maple and Emma Maple, great-grandchildren, Sophia Maple, Aubrey Maple and Evelyn, and his brother John. W. Maple.  He was preceded in death by his son Daniel E. Maple.

Jim had worked as a Route Salesman and was a member of the Faith Chapel Church. He was an avid bowler and baseball fan.  Jim enjoyed classic cars and collecting model trains, and was a member of the NRA.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday November 3, 2023 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Tom Kramer, officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Friday.
