Dorothy P. Green

On November 21, 2021, Dorothy P. Green passed through the gates of Heaven and into the loving arms of Jesus. She was born November 29, 1931, In Newark, NJ to Alfred and Phyllis (Stradtmann) Zoller. On June 6, 1953, she married Jess J. Green, Jr., and together they celebrated over 50 years of marriage.

Her family members who are left to cherish her memory are:  sons, Jesse (Katherine) Green, Robert (Charlene) Green and Douglas (Sandy) Green; a daughter, Phyllis Green; a daughter-in-law, Terri Green; 14 grandchildren, Chrissy, J.J., Annie, Sarah, Scott, Charlie, Nate, Seth, Logan, Kari, Jordan, Jennifer, Kim and Danny;  34 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-granddaughters; a sister-in-law, Herta Zoller and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, George Green, her brother, Alfred Zoller and a dear friend, Charlotte Smith.

Dorothy was a retired employee of Adena Regional Medical Center.

Dorothy was a devoted member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at 11:00 am. with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice or to a charity of choice.
