Dion Patrick Peterson

Dion P. Peterson, 62, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on December 19, 2022 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.  He was born September 16, 1960 at Hanscom Air Force Base to the late Paul and Beverly (Trego) Peterson.

He leaves behind his only daughter, Holly Peterson (Travis Sayre), 3 wonderful grandchildren, Areana, Tobias, and Akari Sayre, his brother, Terry Peterson, and all his special loved ones, Julie Marsh, Jeanette Stanforth,  Damon Lough (Bucket), Rayen Throckmorton, Abigail Throckmorton, Kierce Stanforth, and many other nieces, nephews, special friends and loved ones.

Dion was an honorably discharged Air Force veteran, serving from August 1979 until August 1983 obtaining the rank of Sergeant with his 4 years of service.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chris Brown officiating, and military rites conducted by the Ross County Veteran’s Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Thursday.  In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be made to the Ross County Humane Society.
