Carl J Carroll

Carl J. Carroll, 95, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on December 1, 2022 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.  He was born on October 22, 1927 in Ross County to the late Roy and Carrie (Friend) Carroll.  On January 29, 1949 he married Lucille Montgomery who survives.

Also surviving is his daughter, Carla (Steve) Grant; Chillicothe, a granddaughter Karrie (Randy II) Southern; Chillicothe, great- grandchildren, Kayla Southern (fiancé Jacob Holycross) and Bradley Southern.  He was preceded in death by 6 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Carl was a veteran of the United States Army, and was employed by the U.S. Shoe Company for 44 years.  He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday December 6, 2022 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Chris Brown, officiating.  Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Ross County Veteran’s Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
