William Daniel Loel

William Daniel Loel, 79, of Chillicothe passed from this life on June 4, 2025 at his residence. He was born August 14, 1945 (the day the war ended) in Cleveland, OH to the late Howard C., Sr. and Mary E. (Nihiser) Loel.

Surviving is his sister, Carol Loel; a brother Frank D. (Gloria) Loel; nieces, Brenda L. (Jimmy) George and Rebecca J. Loel; nephews, Steven S. Loel and Howard C. (Laura) Loel, III; many great nieces and nephews and several great-great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Howard C. Loel, Jr. (Rachel), and a sister-in-law, Joyce Hutchison.

Bill enjoyed all sports but especially basketball and baseball, having once struck out 15 batters in a 7-inning game. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bill was a confirmed bachelor but a wonderful father to his fur babies Sadie, Mitzy and Bandit.

Bill will be missed by his family and friends.

Graveside funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Saturday June 7, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Hines officiating. The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
