William "Russell" Hutchison Sr.

William “Russell” Hutchison Sr. , 90, of Chillicothe , died 8:27 PM. Saturday, May 24, 2014 in his son’s home in Grove City, Ohio, following an 18 month battle with bladder cancer. He was born July 27, 1923 in Byer, Jackson County, Ohio to the late William C. and Flossie (Justice) Hutchison. On November 25, 1950, he married Maxine Marie Bryant who died August 3, 1970.
Surviving are children, daughter Cheryl Henderson of Pasadena, CA and son William “Rusty” Hutchison, Jr. of Grove City, OH, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter, and two sisters, Mary Brown and Stella Bethel, both of Chillicothe. His parents, wife and five brothers preceded him in death.
Mr. Hutchison was a painter for the Mead Corporation, retiring in 1985
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM , Wednesday, May 28, 2014 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS & PALMER Funeral Home with his son, William Hutchinson, Jr. officiating, burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM, Tuesday.
