William R. Dyer, Jr.

William Robert Dyer, Jr., 57, of Chillicothe unexpectedly passed from this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of William R. Sr. and Mary E. (Gleason) Dyer.
Surviving are his mother, Mary E. Dyer, Chillicothe; his daughter, Amy (David) Lusk, Galena, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Addison and Hallie; sisters, Vicki Lanman and Sherry (Charles A.) Spindler, all of Chillicothe; a brother, Dwight E. (Tami)Dyer, Kingston; a special uncle, Larry Dyer, Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Dyer was the owner and operator of Bob Dyer Trucking. He was a member of American Legion Post 62, VFW Post 108, Amvets Post 4, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose. He was a devoted son, father, grandfather and brother and will be sadly missed.
The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME on Monday, October 5, 2015 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Private services and burial in Grandview Cemetery will be held at the discretion of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 471 E. Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43215.
