William A Doyle

William A. Doyle, 88, of Kingston, passed from this life on Monday January 20, 2025 at his residence, with his loving partner of 50 years by his side.  He was born on August 28, 1936 in Chillicothe, the son of Alvin and Edna (Schrader) Doyle.

Surviving is his companion, Lawana McCorkle, Kingston; daughters, Diane McAdams and Candy (Louise Crump) Doyle, both of Columbus; and Toby (Tobin) Simkins, Chillicothe, a son, William (Reyna) Doyle, Jr., Chillicothe; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, a sister, Sharon Moats, Chillicothe; and a brother, James (Janean) Doyle, Chillicothe.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David (Zeke) Doyle.

William was a veteran of the United States Army, serving from 1959-1961.  He retired from the Mead maintenance department after 43 years of service.  He was a member of the UPIU Local 731, VFW Post #108, and AM VETS Post # 4.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday January 27, 2025 in Greenlawn Cemetery with is brother James Doyle, speaking and military rites conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  Calling hours will not be observed.  Arrangements are under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME.  An online memorial is available at www.fawcett-palmer.com.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adena Hospice, 2077 Western Ave., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
