William C. Arnett

William Charles Arnett, 85, of Lancaster, formally of Chillicothe, passed from this life Tuesday morning September 27, 2022 in Fairfield Medical Center following an extended illness.  He was born on January 5, 1937 in Chillicothe to the late Lyman Bush and Myrtle Ethel (Moss) Arnett.  On October 29, 1966 he married Edna L. Welshimer who preceded him in death on October 4, 2001.

Surviving is his son, Bill Arnett, Zanesville; step-son, Charles (Donna) Zwayer, Springfield; companion, Clara Hurley, Lancaster, and a sister, Margaret E. Tedford, Chillicothe.

William was a veteran of the U.S. Army (1960-1962) and the Peacetime Reserve (1962-1966).  He was retired from DuPont, Circleville as a Lab Technician.

Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2022 in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston, with Rev. Brad Jones officiating. Military graveside rights will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. Public calling hours will not be observed. Arrangement have been entrusted to the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairfield Medical Center Foundation or Fair Hope Hospice.
