Willard L. Worley

Willard L. Worley, 57, of Chillicothe, passed from this life early Monday morning, Mar. 9, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born June 3, 1951 in Chillicothe, the son of Thomas and Leola (Seymour) Worley. On Feb. 7, 1983 he married Linda S. Butcher who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Leola A. Worley, grandchildren, Cherokee Ray and Karisa Dunn, a sister, Sharon (Steve) Whitley and brothers, Rodney (Yvonne) Worley and Kenneth (Earlene) Worley, all of Chillicothe and many nieces and nephews. His parents preceded him in death. Mr. Worley had been an employee of the VA Medical Center. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He enjoyed playing the guitar. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday in Londonderry Cemetery with military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 12:00 to 1:00 pm on Thursday.
