Walter L. Toole, 78, of Kingston, passed from this life on Thursday evening, Aug. 25, 2011 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born July 28, 1933 in Ashville, OH, the son of the late Emmit and Ethel (Cramblit) Toole and was one of 6 children. On Feb. 15, 1964 he married his wife of 47 years, Joyce (Dunfee) Toole. His loving family who will miss him dearly include his wife; a daughter and son-in-law, Natalie and Shane Malone, a granddaughter, Alyssa Malone and a soon to be born grandson, all of Pickerington, OH; a sister, Donna Riffle, Laurelville; a brother, Arnold Toole, Circleville; many nieces and nephews and dear friends, Vickie Streicher and Paula Johnson. Mr. Toole was a graduate of Walnut Township High School and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He retired from Local 200, United Brotherhood of Carpenters with 50 years of service. A proud father and grandfather, he was a good friend to many. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, Aug. 29, 2011 in the First Wesleyan Church with Rev. B. Jay Dailey officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery at the discretion of the family. Friends may call at the church from 4:00 until the hour of service on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
