Walter E. Behmer, Sr., 65, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Tuesday morning, October 1, 2013 in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born December 18, 1947 in Adelphi, Ohio.
Surviving is his wife, Kimberly F. (Davis) Behmer of Chillicothe; his mother, Mary I. Flowers of Adelphi; his daughter, Jeannie Behmer of Chillicothe; his son and daughter-in-law, Walter E. Jr., and Pam Behmer of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Shawn, Amanda, Kristi and Sutton Behmer; his brother, Kirby Flowers of Fostoria, Ohio; his uncles, Fred Barton of Laurelville and George Hunt of Adelphi; 3 sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews. His father, step-father, grandmother, Alice Behmer, aunts, Alice Barton and Ruth Hunt and uncle, Richard Behmer preceded him in death.
Mr. Behmer was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Melvin Stone Company. He will be remembered as a regular at the Chillicothe Steak N’ Shake.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services. Calling hours will not be observed. The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
