Virginia Ellis Miller

Virginia Ellis Miller, 73 of Frankfort, passed from this life, 2:50 am, Sunday, January 13, 2008, at her residence following a short illness. She was born, May 1, 1934 in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Andrew Davis and the late Winona Horn Davis. On December 24, 1957, she married Paul E. Miller who survives. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Phillip and Barbara Miller, Williamsport, a daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and Jeff Houser, Chillicothe, 5 grandchildren Holly, Heidi, and Brady Miller, and Jesse and Jordan Houser, 2 great grandchildren, Isaak Holler and Jaden Hines, one sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Charles May, Chillicothe, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller worked at US Shoe Corporation prior to becoming a homemaker and artist, painting beautiful landscape and covered bridge scenes. She taught Sunday School and conducted youth activities for many years, touching many lives. As part of the celebration of her life, there will be a small exhibit of her paintings during her services. The family would like to thank Adena Hospice and especially Mark Mulholand for their kind and tender care. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, January 17, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass & Palmer Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn of Frankfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM, Wednesday.
