Virginia M. Kimbler, 79, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday morning, June 12, 2010, in the Valley View Care Center, following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 4, 1930 in Chillicothe, to the late Wilbert D. and Pearl (Hughes) Wogan. On December 16, 1956 she married Elijah M. Kimbler who preceded her in death on November 24, 1991. Surviving is her daughter Marilyn (Charles "Tim") Robertson, of Chillicothe, step daughter Evelyn (Wayne) Beard, Columbus, Step-son, Glenn Kimbler, of Richmond Dale, 3 stepdaughters-in-law Marge Kimbler, Chillicothe, Virginia Kimbler, Chillicothe, and Jan Kimbler, TN, 15 step-grandchildren, over 20 step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, Ramona Miller (Dave), James (Christina) Miller, Danny Miller, and Sam Miller. She was preceded in death by 4 step-sons, John, Roy, Paul, and Franklin Kimbler, and sister Betty S. Miller. Mrs. Kimbler attended many churches during her marriage to Pastor Monroe Kimbler. She attended the Richmond Dale Baptist Church in her later years. She was a part of a Ladies Christian Fellowship group, which she enjoyed very much. She enjoyed being a homemaker for many years, until she went to work at Sears for 15 years, to help her daughter through nursing school. She loved her God, and her family. She enjoyed housework, playing the piano, taking walks, crocheting, and reading. She and her daughter shared a love for cats and just spending time together. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home, with her son-in-law, Pastor Wayne Beard officiating. Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 pm on Tuedsay.
