Trudi Rhodes Fawley, 57, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday morning, Sept. 19, 2007 at her home, surrounded by her family after a long, very courageous battle against cancer. She was born Oct. 21, 1949 in Morgantown, WV, the first child of Phyllis Cason Rhodes and the late Walter "Dusty" Rhodes. On Aug. 19, 1991 she married Mark Fawley who survives. Also surviving is her mother, Phyllis Rhodes, Morgantown, WV, sons, Jeffery and his wife, Kim Whiston and their children, Jackie, Matt and MacKenzie, all of Chillicothe and Jamison and his wife, Tammy Whiston and their children, Bella, Jake, Gabriel and Ryan, all of Lincoln, NE, her sister, Jenny Rhodes and brother, Casey and his wife, Diane Rhodes and their children, Andrew and Alex, all of Morgantown, WV and special friends, Bonnie Fawley and George and Barbara Hatfield, all of Chillicothe. Trudi was an employee of Adena Health System and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She was actively involved with the Ross County Crisis Center and the Good Samaritan Network. She was awarded her Bachelors in Business Administration from West Virginia University and a Masters in Communications from Ohio University. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 in the Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday. Trudi was a pioneer and a lifetime champion of the Good Samaritan Network of Ross County. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritan Network, in care of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
