Thomas Edward Patton

Thomas Edward Patton, 50, of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life Wednesday evening, Sept. 29, 2010 in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 23, 1959, the son of James M. and Joann (Hoffman) Patton. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Robert "Bob" Patton. Surviving are his special aunt and uncle, Mary and Jerry Patton, Brecksville, OH, a niece, Courtney Ann Keeler, Indianapolis, IN, a nephew, Robert "Dennie" Patton, West Chester, OH, his special caregivers whom he loved dearly, Diane Berry, Terri Blankenship, Glenda Hollar, Kathy Shaw, Lisa Berry and Osie "Grandma" Strausbaugh and other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Tom was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He brought a special light to all who knew him. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, Oct. 4, 2010 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Elaine Mulford officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 5:00 pm on Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association or a charity of choice.
