Thomas C. Hertler

Thomas C. Hertler, 60, of Columbus, formerly of Chillicothe, unexpectedly passed from this life on Monday, April 21, 2014 at his residence.  He was born April 16, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of James C. and Jean A. (Burnham) Hertler.

Surviving is his father, James C. Hertler, Chillicothe; daughters, Margo (Travis) McManus, Washington Court House,  Jennifer Hertler, Lancaster, Katherine (Ethan) Bowers, Lockbourne, and Elaine (Michael) Seales, Glenford; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Rev. Carol A. Hertler, Chillicothe, Judith H. (Timothy) Garnhart, Dixon, IL; brothers, William J. (Lynn) Hertler, Chillicothe, Andrew D. Hertler, Washington, DC and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his mother.

Mr. Hertler was a 1972 graduate of Chillicothe High School.  He had been an employee of the Columbus Serum Company.

Private graveside services will be held in Belmont County Memorial Park, Saint Clairsville, OH at the discretion of the family.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME is serving the family.
