Theresa E. (Davis) Peecher

Theresa Ellen Peecher, 97, of Londonderry passed from this life on Friday, December 27, 2013 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born October 20, 1916 in Ross County, the daughter of Grant and Ida (Stoneburner) Davis.  On June 17, 1935 she married Earl Murray who preceded her in death in 1966.  On October 4, 1969 she married Walter Peecher who preceded her in death in 1995.

Surviving is her daughter, Juanita (John “Bud”) Meeker, Londonderry; step-daughters, Ruthie (Roger) Swaney, Richmond Dale and Jackie Angus, Sundusky; step-sons, Gale (Mary) Peecher and Lloyd Peecher, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Cheryl (Kevin) Hill, Jody (Dan) Clary and Jeff (Becky) Meeker; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren and a brother, Paul (Sylvia) Davis, Chillicothe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; a step-daughter, Patricia Falco; sisters, Alice Davis, Sarah Jane Woods, Virginia Wood and Margaret McGarvey and brothers, Charles Davis, Ulysses Davis and Calvin Davis.

Mrs. Peecher was a retired employee of Mead Paper.  She was a member of Local 731 and the Londonderry Homemakers.

She was a member of the Richmond Dale Church of God where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 with Revs. John Evans and Jamie Hitchcock officiating.  Burial will follow in Little Mound Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  The family requests memorial contributions in her memory to the Richmond Dale Church of God.
