Suzanne I. Schumaker

Suzanne Ilene Schumaker, 65, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Monday, Nov. 17, 2008 in Adena Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Friday, Nov. 21, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. J.C. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Thursday. She was born Nov. 16, 1943 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Leroy and Mary (Brown) Ross. On July 26, 1969 she married Gary L. Schumaker who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Tami Schumaker, Chillicothe, a son, Otto Schumaker, Ray, OH, grandchildren, Seth Schumaker and Alex Copeland, a sister, Ruth Ann (John) Strouth, Mansfield, OH, a brother, Ronald (Rose) Ross, Chillicothe, an aunt, Betty (Mike) Davis, Chillicothe and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Her parents, a step-father, Pete McDill, infant sons, Wayne Lee Morris and Jack Donald Morris and numerous aunts and uncles preceded her in death. Suzanne was a member of the American Legion Woman's Auxiliary. She was an avid bowler for many years and was a devoted wife and mother.
