Susan "Sussie" Benson

Susan Marie “Sussie” Benson, 87, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Saturday morning, Nov. 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born Oct. 26, 1929 in Chillicothe, the daughter of Fredrick and Leona (Moss) Leach. She was married in 1949 to Roy E. Benson who preceded her in death June 9, 1998.
Surviving are daughters, Linda M. Benson and Sue Dalton, both of Chillicothe and Pam Benson, Columbus; a son, Tim (Mel) Benson, Chillicothe; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews and special friends, Tim and Teresa Butterbaugh. Her parents, a son, Fred, 3 sisters and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Tuesday.
