Stella L. Buskirk

Stella l. Buskirk, 89, died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 in Olympia, Washington. She was born June 22, 1922 in Highland County, Ohio , the daughter of Herschel and Bessie Bowen. On January 7, 1945 she married Robert Buskirk who preceded her in death on February 5, 1998. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Mrs. James Blanton) of Lakewood, Washington, three granddaughters, Lynne Lake, Kerry Gaines, Dawn Duke and seven great- grandchildren. Her sister, Frances Bowen also survives. Stella was a long time resident of Chillicothe and graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1940. She and Robert owned Placiers Paint Store for many years, retiring in 1984. Graveside services and burial in Grandview Cemetery will be held,1 PM Thursday, August 18, 2011 with Pastor Kurt King officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Alzheimer's Association.
