Shirley R. (Shannon) Meece

Shirley R. (Shannon) Meece, 79, of Piketon, formerly of Beaver, West Virginia passed from this life on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Adena Regional Medical Center.  She was born April 20, 1936 in Beaver, West Virginia, the daughter of William and Emma (Cooper) Shannon.

She is survivied by a daughter, April Douglas, Indianapolis, Indiana; sons, Tracey (Marie) Meece, Indianapolis, Indiana and Richard (Samantha) Meece, Shady Spring, West Virginia and 4 grandchildren.  Her parents preceded her in death.

Following cremation, arrangements will be at the discretion of the family.  Calling hours will not be observed.  The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
