Sherman "Bill" W. Hawk

Sherman W. “Bill” Hawk, Jr., 73, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Tuesday March 11, 2025 in CareCore at Westmoreland.  He was born on August 21, 1951, the son of Sherman W. and Pauline Opal (Jenkins) Hawk-Mason.

Surviving is his daughter, Emily Lindauer, NC; sons, Paul Hawk, Chillicothe; Michael (Charlotte) Hawk, MD; and Allen (Jessica) Hawk, Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren, sisters, Linda (Glen) Wilson, Chillicothe; Elizabeth (Richard) Fuller, SC; and Thea (Tim) Ziesler, Chillicothe; brothers, David (Tonya) Hawk, Kingston; and Joe Hawk, Chillicothe, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bill had worked as a truck driver, and upon retirement, recently worked for O’Reilly Auto Parts.  He was a proud lifetime member of the NRA, and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

A Visitation will be held for family and friends on Friday March 28, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home.  There will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's memory to the Pioneer School, 11268 Co. Rd. 550, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
