Ruth I. Weidauer

Ruth Irene Weidauer, 84, of Chillicothe went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009. She was born may 13, 1925 in Chillicothe to the late Harry and Bertha (Martindale) Mathes. On June 28, 1953 she married her loving husband, Donald Eugene Weidauer who preceded her in death Jan. 19, 2007. Surviving is a wonderful son, Jeffery Allen Weidauer who took loving care of his mother until the day she went home to be with our Lord. Her parents and a sister, Ellen Ratcliff preceded her in death. Mr. Weidauer had been an employee of Mead Paper from 1945 until 1959. She enjoyed camping, the great outdoors and visiting with her friends who she met while camping. She was a wonderful cook, wife and mother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. "Mom: I love you dearly and I will miss you always. Your loving son, Jeff" Private graveside services will be held at the discretion of the family. Calling hours will not be observed. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family.
