Ruth (Wright) Sheets

Ruth Sheets, 86, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on Monday October 9, 2023 in CareCore at Westmoreland.  She was born on November 19, 1936 in Chillicothe, to the late Henry and Bessie (Flake) Wright.  In 1975, she married Vernon C. Sheets, who preceded her in death on March 29, 2008.

Surviving are her grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Robert) Binkley, Jacob Moody and Juelia Moody, and a great-grandson, Mason Binkley.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorrie Moody and her brother Edward Wright.

Ruth enjoyed yodeling, singing, playing the harmonica, and listening to country music.  She loved to be outdoors, planting flowers, and walking.  She loved her dog Reese, and most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.

A private service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery at the discretion of the family.  Calling hours will not be observed.
