Russell Marvin Seymoure, Jr.

Russell (Rusty) Marvin Seymoure Jr. passed away February 5, 2012 as a result of an extended illness. His loving mother, devoted sisters, family and friends were by his side when he left this world to be with the Lord. He was born to Russell (Russ) and Marjorie (Minnie) Seymoure of Chillicothe, Ohio on January 17, 1961. Rusty went to Chillicothe High School, and graduated with honors in 1979. Rusty was an assistant pastor and trustee of the Crossway Market Place Ministries formally known as the Willing Workers Missions Church. Rusty served his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ many years and never complained or asked why in spite of his illness. He was a great son, loving brother and uncle, great uncle to his entire family and will be greatly missed by everyone. To have known Rusty was to know a man that had a loving heart. Rusty was preceded in death by his father Russell (Russ) Seymoure, sister Samantha Ann Seymoure, and his grandparents. He is survived by his mother Marjorie (Minnie) Seymoure; sisters, Bess Vickers, Sheila and (Tim) Sayre, Deb and (Dan) Cook, all of Chillicothe, Mary and (Craig) Stevens, Londonderry and Sherry and (David) Conley, Piketon; nieces and nephews, Tonya (Chris) Clendaniel, David (Brittany) Conley, Danny (Deanna) Cook, Stacey (Eric) Patterson and Brandy (Rob) Deering; ten great nieces and nephews; an adopted niece Amanda Carl; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. The family wishes to express a thank you to the entire staff and the residents at the Chillicothe Nursing and Rehab Center. They have become good friends and part of our family for the past three years where Rusty resided due to his illness. A special thank you, to Rusty's friend, roommate and Guardian Angel, Charles (Charlie) Phillips. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME. Calling hours for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Crossway Market Place Ministries Church (940 Jefferson Ave. Chillicothe, Ohio) with Pastor David Conley, Pastor Mike Denney and Carl (Herk) Bode officiating. Burial will follow in Londonderry Cemetery.
