Ruby M. Harper

Ruby M. Harper, 94, of Londonderry, passed from this life Friday morning, Mar. 7, 2008 in Sunbridge of Circleville. She was born July 8, 1913 in Vinton County, the daughter of Elmer D. and Nancy S. (Salts) Fout. On July 25, 1936 she married Earl M. Harper who preceded her in death Oct. 17, 1979. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and Richard Jones, Ashville and Nancy and Curtis Evers, Chillicothe, several nieces and nephews and many friends. Her parents, 4 sisters and 4 brothers preceded her in death. Mrs. Harper was a homemaker and was the last surviving charter member of the Pleasant Valley Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, Mar. 11, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Pastor Leland Benson officiating. Burial will follow in Bobblett Cemetery, Vinton County. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Valley Holiness Church or Heartland Hospice.
