Rose Mary Bennett

Rose Mary Bennett, 79 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Friday, October 20, 2017 in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born January 26, 1938 in Ross County, the daughter of Charles M. and Myrtle (Cook) McGuire. On September 18, 1954 she married Ammy Bennett, Jr. who preceded her in death June 17, 2007.
Surviving are her daughters, Tina L. (Donald) Barr and Lori J. Bennett, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jason Free, Logan (Molly) Calhoun and Maleah (Chase) Calhoun; great-grandchildren, Gavin Free, Kara Free and John Free; sisters, Roxie Marie Bennett, Rainsboro, OH and Patricia V. (Roy) Stone, Chillicothe; a brother, James E. (Ruth) McGuire, Chillicothe and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild, John L. Free, 3 sisters and a brother.
Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Huntington Chapel Church. She was a retired employee of First Capitol Enterprises and had been a bus driver for the Chillicothe City Schools.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Roger Weaks officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
