Ronald G. Meeker

Ronald G. Meeker, 76, of Chillicothe and long time resident of Crouse Chapel Rd., passed from this life Tues. morning July 24, 2012, at his residence following a brief illness. He was born Mar. 21, 1936, in Ross Co., to the late Raymond and Eliza (Jones) Meeker. He is survived by his loving wife Gwynneth (Dailey), whom he married May 12, 1957.
Also surviving are a daughter; Debbie (Wayne) Bennett, Chillicothe, sons; Robert (Kathy) Meeker, Englewood, FL, and Greg and fiancé (Dorraine Burchett) Meeker, Chillicothe, grandchildren; Jason (Terra) Bennett, Andy Bennett, Sarah Bennett, Aaron Meeker, Emalee Meeker and Leslie McGee, a sister; Janet (Dean) Good, Kingston, a brother; John (Carolyn) Meeker, Chillicothe, brothers-in-law; James L. (Linda) Dailey, Chillicothe, and David (Pat) Dailey, Greenbush, MI, several nieces and nephews, and many friends including special friends; Joe (Liz) Kutschbach, and a special neighbor Ferrill Perry.
Mr. Meeker was employed by Mead as a Pipefitter, retiring in 1993. He was a member of Local 731 Steelworkers Union.
Calling hours will not be observed. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
