Ronald Eugene Betts, 48, formerly of Chillicothe, went home to be with the Lord at 12:55 pm, Monday, June 4, 2007 at his home in Port Orange, FL. He was born Oct. 3, 1958 in Chillicothe, the son of Harold B. and Loretta (Smith) Betts. Surviving is his wife, Kathy, a daughter, Edna (James) Roberts, all of Port Orange, FL, a son, Ronald "Gene" Betts, II, Chillicothe, grandchildren, Nikalas and Christopher Roberts, sisters, Elenor (Ervin) Himelrick, Sharon (Bob) Kellough, Rosetta Betts (Donnie Elder) and Joyce Ann Dillon, all of Chillicothe, Judie (Keith) Kellough and Mary (Herb) Seymour, all of Jacksonville, FL and brothers, Danny (Marti) Tackett, Chillicothe, William (Linda) Tackett, WI and Clifford Betts, FL. His parents, brothers, Harold, Benjamin, Jr., Mike and Larry Betts and Charles and Butch Tackett preceded him in death. Mr. Betts was a truck driver and had been employed by RLS. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge 1626 in Chillicothe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday, June 11, 2007 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home with Rev. Eric VanBuskirk officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday
