Roger K. Tatman

Roger K. Tatman, 76, of Chillicothe passed from this life on Sunday September 22, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  He was born on April 14, 1948 in Columbus, one of triplet sons to, Turney T. and Viola M. (Seymour) Tatman.  He married Linda Orr who preceded him in death on February 9, 2009.

Surviving are sons, Daniel Tatman, Chillicothe, and Rodney, a grandson, Elijah Tatman, a brother Wayne Tatman, London, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Linda, a son, Shane Tatman, and brothers, Eugene, Eldon, Phillip, and Gary Tatman.

Roger was a 1966 graduate of Chillicothe High School. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a member of American Legion Post 757.  Roger had worked as a meat cutter for Alber's Grocery Store, later Sack-n-Save, and loved his cat, Callie.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m, Monday October 7, 2024 in the First Church of God, 780 E. Water St., Chillicothe, OH with Rev. Melvin Simpson, officiating.   Miliary rites conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery Columbarium.
