Rodney E. Poe, 55, of Chillicothe, died 3:04 PM, Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. He was born June 14, 1955, in Chillicothe, the son of Warren and Phyllis Hiles Poe. Surviving are his mother, Phyllis Poe, one brother Eric Poe, one sister-in-law Roxanne Poe, life partner Michael Gool; all of Chillicothe, nieces and nephew Sara-Beth Hines, Stacey Poe, and Ethan Poe, a great-niece McKenzie (Mac) Hines, and several loving aunts and uncles. His father and one brother Keith Poe preceded him in death. Mr. Poe was retired from the Mead, and also worked in area restaurants including Bob Evans and Max and Erma's. Calling Hours will not be observed. A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Wesleyan Church, 4:00 PM, Tuesday, November 9, 2010. The Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, Rodney wished for friends to donate to the new Adena Medical Center Cancer Center
