Rodger A. Fisher

Rodger A. Fisher, 43, of Chillicothe, passed from this life Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 9, 2008 in Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 2, 1964 in Chillicothe, the son of Russell and Mary (Sullivan) Fisher. On Mar. 17, 1989 he married Lisa M. Owens, who survives. Also surviving is his mother and step-father, Mary and Ralph Mann, Columbus, a daughter, Kristy (Scott) Wilkinson, Aurora, OH, sons, Zachary Binion, Morehead, KY and Jesse Fisher, Chillicothe, a sister, Rebecca (Orrin) Sprouse, Frankfort, two sisters-in-law, Denise (Larry) Entingh, Columbus, and Theresa Fisher, Chillicothe, brothers, Randy (Shanna) Fisher, Rick (Cindy) Fisher, Rusty Fisher, all of Chillicothe and Rex (Tammy) Fisher, Frankfort and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His father preceded him in death. Rodger was a veteran of the US Navy and was an employee of Barber Spring Manufacturing. He was a member of American Legion Post 62 and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed his family and friends. Military rites by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard will be observed at 2:30 pm Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 in the Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at the discretion of the family at a later date. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until the hour of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for the benefit of his children's education.
