Robert "Bob" F. Jones

Robert F. “Bob” Jones, 77 of Frankfort, passed from this life on Thursday January 11, 2024 in the Adena Regional Medical Center.  He was born on June 7, 1946 in Chillicothe to the late Carl O. and Frances A. (Davis) Jones.  On January 14, 2000 he married Jennifer E. Clarke who preceded him in death on October 27, 2011.

Surviving is his son David Jones, Chillicothe, granddaughter, McKenna (Logan) Layne, Chillicothe, great-granddaughter, Emmelyn Layne, companion, Becky Roberts, a sister, Irene (Tom) Hopkins, Londonderry, brothers, Harvey Jones, and Paul L. Jones, both of Chillicothe.  He was preceded in death by sisters, Carlene Kelly and Patty Alexander, and brothers, Keith, Carl, Johnny, and Harry Jones.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Army.  He worked for Kenworth for 34 years in the paint department.  He loved gardening, woodworking, shooting, and playing the guitar.  Bob enjoyed collecting guitars, having over 25 in his collection.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday January 20, 2024 in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Bruce Hines, officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service on Saturday.
