RICHARD T. WHITE Richard T. White, 92, of Chillicothe, died 1:08 AM, Saturday, December 16, 2006 in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. He was born January 18, 1914 in Scio, OH, the son of the late James G. and the late Mary Taylor White. On July 23, 1938, he married the former L. Lucille Thomas, who died April 11, 1994. On November 16, 1996, he married the former Luvada Detty Kuhn who survives. Also surviving are sons and daughters-in-law Bill and Elaine White, Rensselaer, IN and Jim and Diana White, Newburg, OR; one step daughter and husband Susan and Michael Thompson, Terra Haute, IN; one sister Alice White, Dayton, OH; 4 grandchildren Johanna, Daniel, Erin and Carrie; 3 step grandchildren Dwayne Thompson, Carla Chrisman, and Thor Kuhn; and one great-grandchild Braedon. 2 children, one sister Ruth, one granddaughter Jennifer and one stepson Chris Kuhn preceded him in death. Mr. White was a teacher at Adelphia High School and retired as the Chief of Recreation at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center. He was a US Army veteran serving during WWII, a member of the American Legion #757, and Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church where Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 with Reverend James Groves officiating. Following cremation internment will be held 2:00 PM, January 18, 2007 in Londonderry Cemetery with veterans memorial services conducted by the Ross County Veteran's Firing Squad.
