Feb. 27, 2012
in Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
He was born

, the son of the late Emmitt and Myrtle (Cameron) Sprouse.
On
Nov. 19, 1945
he married Willie Nell Berry who preceded him in death
May 15, 2007
.
Surviving is a daughter,
Myra
(Steven E.) Poling,
Chillicothe
; a son, Raymond D. “Dave” (Susan) Sprouse, Channahon, IL; grandchildren, Tracey (Wes) Lamm, Travis (Pam) Poling, Lanetta (Ben) Greenlee, Tricia (Brian) Moore, Kristin Sprouse, Heather Sprouse and Cameron Sprouse; great-grandchildren, Andrea, Joseph, Jillian, Brittany, Casey, Sammie, Karey, Levi, Haylee and Kate.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Yvonnie Lee Schmidt and a sister, Ethel Ina Burke.
Mr. Sprouse was a retired employee of Burrough’s Electric and Duffy Electric.
He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving in WW II and was a member of the Crossroads Church of Christ in Christian Union and IBEW Local 575.
Funeral services will be held at
11:00 am
Friday, Mar. 2, 2012
in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS
AND
PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Paul Elswick officiating.
Burial will follow in
Floral
Hills
Memory
Gardens
with military graveside services by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from
6:00
to
8:00 pm
on Thursday.
