Phillip J. Mcguire

Phillip J. McGuire, 68 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Tuesday morning, Mar. 13, 2018 at his residence.  He was born Oct. 9, 1949 in Ross County, the son of Alvin F. and Virginia (Springer) McGuire.  On May 22, 1992 he married Judy Ann Hughes who preceded him in death Feb. 13, 2009.

Surviving are sons, Shane E. (Rhonda) McGuire and Justin P. (Brandy) McGuire, both of Waverly; step-sons, Willard L. Sims, Jr., Frankfort and Michael A. (Cindy) Sims, Chillicothe; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Long and Sue (Ken) Wipert, brother, Kyle (Mary) McGuire; special friends, Denny and Cindy Clark, all of Chillicothe and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 great-grandchildren. sister, Robyn McGuire and brothers, Don, Ron and Bob McGuire.

Mr. McGuire was a retired employee of Union Spring in Chillicothe.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, Mar. 19, 2018 in Twin Township Cemetery with Rev. Dane Knapp officiating.  Calling hours will not be observed.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
